EICMA, acronym of International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition is, at the world level, the most important trade fair event for the entire 2-wheel sector and represents the marketing tool of ANCMA, the Confindustria Industrial Association of which the most prestigious companies in the industry.
EICMA, since its first edition of 1914, takes place in Milan and is confirmed as the most visited event in the world by number of Exhibitors, Visitors, Operators and Press internationally.
There are numerous elements that make EICMA a showcase of great impact: numerous product innovations, international press conferences, technical workshops, the presence of world-class drivers and representative figures not only in the sector, as well as the competitive moments and great show in the outdoor MotoLive area.

In fact, in the MotoLive outdoor area you will find a test ride track to discover the full potential of eBikes through a track specially designed to enhance their technical feature.
Startup and Innovation Area
Thanks to the strategic collaboration and fundamental support of ITA, Italian Trade Agency, EICMA is able to offer its visitors a window on the future of the two-wheel sector and its supply chain.
The Start-Up area, located inside Hall 9, is a concrete visibility opportunity for fledgling realities, allowing young companies to have the same opportunities as longer-lived brands and to get on the most important international stage for the industry.
The mobility sector today is one of the areas where major challenges and everything that is happening at the level of innovation are concentrated. In this area, it is therefore possible to conduct a visitor experience under the banner of creativity and the ability of young entrepreneurs to provide answers and interpret changes.
This space, (with an exhibition formula now consolidated in recent years), represents EICMA and ITA’s bet on young people, an exclusive place where startuppers present ideas, solutions and prototypes to the general public, but also an essential moment to develop business opportunities and relationships with operators, media and institutions.
MotoLive: Competitions, Shows, Music
MotoLive is one of the ingredients for the success of EICMA, the most spectacular, eagerly awaited and adrenaline-pumping racing container that enlivens the outdoor area of the Exhibition.
Now in its 17th Edition this year, MotoLive confirms itself as a unique opportunity for the public to watch free competitions and be thrilled by shows, music and entertainment shows. Even the most discerning fans will find their bread and butter here: phenomenal Freestyle Motocross and Acrobatic Trial runs and the opportunity to see up close the riders, national and international, of the most prestigious off-road disciplines.
Electric Micro-Mobility: Birò gets a brand new look at EICMA fair
Estrima presents the renewed version of Birò, on the occasion of the 2022 edition of EICMA. During its participation in the EICMA 2022 cycle and motorcycle fair, Estrima S.p.A. (“Estrima”) – Italian company specialised in the electric micro-mobility sector, born in Pordenone in 2008 – will present the innovative version of Birò – the smallest four-wheeled electric vehicle.
Birò: Ride the future
Birò completely respects the environment, the urban spaces and the most fragile users, in addition to integrating a lot of technology. These are, in fact, the requirements of the city of the future. Birò users have real privileges: they don’t have to plan every stage, they can stop almost anywhere, be protected even in case of rain, enjoy the city at 360 degrees and recharge at any socket, even at home.
Born in 2008, Birò is one of the first electric quadricycles launched on the market. Taking advantage of customer feedback, it is now deeply renewed to achieve the perfect balance between freedom of movement and respect for the environment and for others.
Size: Birò is bigger inside, the same outside
In the new version of Birò, characterized by a renewed and more modern design, the internal volumes increase, but the external dimensions don’t change.
Birò maintains the record as the smallest 4-wheel electric vehicle in the world. The footprint on the ground remains a record: less than 2m2, thanks to the 111 cm wide and 179 cm long. Instead, the internal volume increases: in the standard model the rear compartment goes from 41 to 122 liters (+ 200%) and is accessible from the inside; in the Birò Big the oversized luggage compartment – from 204 to 308 liters (+ 50%) – can be configured thanks to the multifunction parcel shelf.
The habitability for taller people also improves thanks to the +4 cm between seat and sunroof.
