Luxuriant et d\u00e9licieusement herbac\u00e9, Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest<\/a> est le premier whisky de Glenmorangie fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d’orge s\u00e9ch\u00e9e avec des plantes foresti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n

Inspir\u00e9e par les merveilles naturelles et changeantes que le directeur de la cr\u00e9ation des whiskies de Glenmorangie rencontre lorsqu’il se prom\u00e8ne dans les bois pr\u00e8s de chez lui, cette \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e exp\u00e9rimentale \u00e9voque les parfums, les sons et les images de la for\u00eat.<\/p>\n

Ses d\u00e9licieux ar\u00f4mes de pin, de gen\u00e9vrier et de feu de bois ont conduit l’illustratrice Pomme Chan \u00e0 imaginer sa propre for\u00eat fantastique, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e sur l’emballage du whisky.<\/p>\n

Depuis plus de 175 ans, les cr\u00e9ateurs de whisky de Glenmorangie font preuve d’une imagination sans fin dans leur qu\u00eate de d\u00e9licieux single malts – aucun d’entre eux n’est aussi imaginatif que le Dr Bill, connu pour son approche du whisky caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par la question \u00ab\u00a0Et si… ?\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, r\u00eavant d’un whisky qui traduirait l’\u00e9merveillement d’une promenade en for\u00eat, le Dr Bill s’est souvenu que les anciens fabricants de whisky des Highlands s\u00e9chaient leur orge avec toutes sortes de combustibles forestiers.<\/p>\n

Il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter en s\u00e9chant son orge avec de nombreuses plantes diff\u00e9rentes, pour finalement choisir des baies de gen\u00e9vrier, de l’\u00e9corce de bouleau et des fleurs de bruy\u00e8re, associ\u00e9es \u00e0 un peu de tourbe.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9sultat est un lot de spiritueux aux ar\u00f4mes rares d’aiguilles de pin et de gen\u00e9vrier, agr\u00e9ment\u00e9s de volutes de fum\u00e9e. Il l’a ensuite fait vieillir dans des f\u00fbts de bourbon, dont de nombreux f\u00fbts de recharge, choisis pour permettre aux saveurs de l’alcool de s’exprimer.<\/p>\n

En partenariat avec Glenmorangie pour donner vie aux saveurs du whisky sur son emballage, l’illustratrice tha\u00eflandaise Pomme Chan s’est enfonc\u00e9e dans sa for\u00eat pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e du nord de la Tha\u00eflande et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 dessiner, s’inspirant de son environnement et de ses conversations avec le Dr Bill sur l’\u00c9cosse.<\/p>\n

Elle a rapidement cr\u00e9\u00e9 sa propre for\u00eat fantastique, qui inspire le design de l’emballage. Une f\u00eate de technicolor somptueux, son illustration fait \u00e9cho aux saveurs et aux plantes du whisky – avec la bruy\u00e8re en fleur, le gen\u00e9vrier parfum\u00e9, les oranges et les pommes de pin dansant sur la brise.<\/p>\n

Dr Bill affirme : \u00ab\u00a0Chaque fois que je vais dans les bois o\u00f9 je vis, je remarque quelque chose de nouveau, que ce soit la senteur de la pluie de la nuit derni\u00e8re ou le bruit des feuilles qui bruissent d’une mani\u00e8re particuli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

J’ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 imaginer comment nous pourrions donner vie \u00e0 la for\u00eat dans un whisky, en s\u00e9chant l’orge avec des mat\u00e9riaux provenant de la for\u00eat, comme le faisaient nos anc\u00eatres. Apr\u00e8s de nombreuses exp\u00e9riences, nous avons choisi le gen\u00e9vrier, l’\u00e9corce de bouleau et la bruy\u00e8re, qui auraient traditionnellement \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s dans le processus de s\u00e9chage, pour cr\u00e9er un Glenmorangie aussi luxuriant et feuillu que la for\u00eat elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Avec des ar\u00f4mes d’aiguilles de pin, de mousse sylvestre, la nettet\u00e9 du gen\u00e9vrier, et des go\u00fbts d’eucalyptus, de menthe, d’orange am\u00e8re et de fum\u00e9e lointaine, A Tale of the Forest est un whisky qui vous entourera, vous ravira et vous surprendra, que vous le d\u00e9gustiez au fond d’une for\u00eat ou dans des cocktails \u00e0 la maison.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Pomme a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Je suis tr\u00e8s heureuse de collaborer avec Glenmorangie pour cette d\u00e9licieuse \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e. Pour moi, une for\u00eat est une affaire de sens – le parfum, ainsi que ce que l’on voit et entend. \u00c0 travers mon illustration, j’ai voulu transmettre la profondeur myst\u00e9rieuse de la for\u00eat ainsi que les plantes et les ar\u00f4mes que l’on trouve dans le whisky : bruy\u00e8re, gen\u00e9vrier, menthe orange… J’esp\u00e8re que l\u2019emballage attirera les gens et les invitera \u00e0 s’imaginer en train de d\u00e9guster Glenmorangie A Tale of Forest lors d’une randonn\u00e9e ou d’un pique-nique… dans une for\u00eat, bien s\u00fbr !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
