Jean-Éric Vergne has become the new record holder for the most points scored in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. With 34 podium finishes, 11 victories, and 15 pole positions, the only two-time Formula E champion has accumulated 1047 points since the beginning of his career in the electric series. As an ambassador for DS Automobiles, the Frenchman stands among the most significant drivers of the series.
Jean-Éric Vergne has broken a new record: With 14 valuable points at the Misano E-Prix on April 13th and 14th 2024, “JEV” became the driver with the most points (1047 pts.) since entering the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
As a determined and consistent driver, Jean-Éric Vergne has left an indelible mark on the history of Formula E since the inception of his career in the 100% electric racing series in 2014. As the only two-time champion of the series (2018, 2019), the French driver has made a significant contribution to DS Automobiles’ two constructor titles (2019, 2020), of which he is an ambassador.
To date, Jean-Éric Vergne has contested 121 races, securing 34 podium finishes, 11 victories, 15 pole positions, and 2 driver titles. This exceptional track record has been achieved in part with the assistance of the French manufacturer and a team of engineers who have supported him for many years.
Behind the wheel of the DS E-TENSE FE23 with the number 25, developed by DS Performance for the DS PENSKE team, Jean-Éric Vergne is a regular presence at E-Prix events, contributing to the global reputation of DS Automobiles.
