There are no words to describe how excited I am to participate in Tomorrowland. It is an annual music festival that takes place in Boom, Belgium over the two last July weekends. In 2017, Tomorrowland immerses the ‘People of Tomorrow’ in an ‘Amicorum Spectaculum’, that has no equal.
Over 1’000 artists, 16 stages, spectacular shows, fireworks and magical arenas will animate the town of BOOM. More than 360,000 music-lovers, representing at least 200 different nationalities, will journey to ‘De Schorre’. They are all following the same call: Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever…
Tomorrowland is a magical playground that aims to entertain ‘The Children of all Ages’ – and all horizons. There shall be no boundaries and music the common language. People from every corner of the planet will make their way to Belgium and gather for one of the biggest and most spectacular shows on Earth.
This year’s edition is the 13th already. Since its beginning in 2005, Tomorrowland is organized and owned 100% by the original founders, the brothers Manu and Michiel Beers. From year to year, the event has grown bigger and bigger, proposing a new theme and new attractions with every edition.
Over time, Tomorrowland has become one of the most notable global music festivals and the largest Electronic Dance Music festival in the world. But it is even more than that…
Tomorrowland: an overall experience
Considering the growth that the event experienced over the last decade, its ability to embrace new trends and to propose novelties that keep its audience excited, Tomorrowland is more than ‘just a music festival’.
It is an esprit, an overall experience that is immersing all senses. Sound, sight, smell, taste, touch… and the yearning to discover new things, to go places, to unite with others, to feel the heartbeat of Mother Nature.
DreamVille is Tomorrowland’s camping site. For DreamVillers and Global Journey travellers, the experience starts on Thursday night with an exclusive rave called The Gathering.
Over 30’000 people will come together on each of the two festival weekends to celebrate the kick-off of the festivities.
Tastes of the World is a unique discovery of various flavours. More than 120 food stands will surprise festival dwellers with foods from around the world: www.tastesoftheworld.com.
UNITE is the Digital Bridge. It connects 8 countries with Tomorrowland! Dubai, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Malta, Spain, South Korea and Taiwan – via live DJ Sets on the main stage.
