Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza: Best 48h Stay!

Rockstar stay in Ibiza? If you fly in for a party like we did, we recommend the Hard Rock Hotel. Best 48h stay!

The hotel is vibrant, with lots to see and explore – from restaurants, spa, beach club, to the adjacent Ushuaïa – soft music is playing 24/7, but the rooms are of course soundproof and air-conditioned.

The views over the beach are stunning, the breakfast after a long party night totally fit for rockstars, cozy chill-out areas can be found everywhere in the hotel, as are references to music and stars of the industry.

It’s 5 stars for coolness from us! Truly fabulous stay. Can’t wait to be back soon!!

The reason for our stay

The reason we visited Ibiza on this occasion was upon invitation from TAG Heuer, the Swiss watchmaker, to attend their press conference with David Guetta.

At the time, TAG Heuer had just opened a boutique in Ushuaïa. It is one of the island’s most popular hotels, where David Guetta was the resident DJ. At the press conference, the star explained the similarities between the world of watchmaking and the music industry.

It is a world where technology plays a major role in influencing the emotions. Like TAG Heuer, David Guetta is at the forefront of his industry. And, as ever, remains an icon for those in their early twenties.

Ibiza: home to David Guetta

David Guetta is one of those producers with a distinctive, recognisable sound. He is not just a dance music superstar, he truly is the icon of a generation.

With over 10 million albums and 50 million singles sold across the world, he has one of the largest presences on social media. More than 83 million fans in total! And he decided to join TAG Heuer as an international ambassador at the start of 2015. Here, how he explained the collaboration:

“The music industry is like watchmaking. It is a fast-changing environment which is constantly reinventing itself. We are constantly challenging ourselves in terms of technology and innovation, we have to be constantly watching the microtrends to pick up on what will be happening tomorrow and convey emotions to our audience.”

He then explained how the island of Ibiza, where he spends all summer, is a source of inspiration for him, in reflecting the trends and future of the island.

The evening event naturally ended with the famous and long-awaited David Guetta Closing Party, held in the open air by the splendid pool at Ushuaïa.
